The Short Version

Use OBAStream to stream. Don't use it to do illegal things or harm others. You own your content. We own the platform. We both agree to be reasonable.

1. Who We Are

OBAStream is a browser-based live streaming studio for independent creators and podcasters. We provide tools that let you stream simultaneously to X, YouTube, Rumble, and Facebook.

2. Your Account

  • You must be 13 or older to use OBAStream.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • One account per person. Don't share accounts.

3. Your Content

You own your content. OBAStream does not claim any ownership over what you broadcast. We transmit it; we don't own it.

By using OBAStream, you confirm that you have the rights to broadcast your content and that it complies with the terms of the platforms you stream to (X, YouTube, Rumble, Facebook).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use OBAStream to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Stream content you don't have the rights to broadcast.
  • Attempt to hack, probe, or disrupt our infrastructure.
  • Impersonate other individuals or organizations.
  • Engage in fraud, phishing, or other deceptive practices.

We do not moderate political speech, commentary, or opinion. We are a tool, not an arbiter of acceptable viewpoints. Our only restrictions are the legal minimums.

5. Third-Party Platforms

When you connect X, YouTube, Rumble, or Facebook to OBAStream, you also agree to their respective terms of service. OBAStream is not responsible for actions taken by those platforms against your accounts — their platforms, their rules.

6. Billing & Cancellation

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly. Cancel anytime.
  • No cancellation fees. No lock-in.
  • If you cancel, you retain access through the end of your billing period.
  • Refunds are handled case-by-case. Contact us if something went wrong.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Live streaming is infrastructure-intensive. We will communicate planned maintenance in advance and work quickly to resolve unplanned outages. We are not liable for stream failures caused by platform outages, internet issues, or factors outside our control.

8. Account Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms.

We will not terminate your account for your political views, speech, or content that is lawful in the United States. We believe in free expression and will not be a tool of deplatforming.

9. Limitation of Liability

OBAStream is provided "as is." We are not liable for lost revenue, missed streams, or other damages arising from use of the service beyond the amount you've paid us in the last 30 days.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of OBAStream after that date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you can cancel your account — no hard feelings.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the state of Utah.
